What is the difference between battery/wireless and hardwired sconces?

Battery/Wireless:

No electrician is needed.
You can use battery operated puck lights w/remote or rechargeable lightbulbs w/timer.
Sometimes also called wireless/cordless because there are no electrical wires or cords exposed.

Hardwired:

Electrician is needed (or someone who can attach electrical wires safely from the sconce to the electrical source in the walls).
Turns on/off with light switch.
PUCK LIGHT HACK: can use battery operated puck lights w/remote or rechargeable lightbulbs w/timer.

Sconce Styles that I chose:

Transitional, traditional, & modern.
Some with fabric shades/clear glass/white globes.
Battery-Operated and Hardwired w/puck light hack- both are renter friendly.
Most come in different colors also (black, silver, black/gold, etc).

Budget-friendly:

So what do my gold wall sconces look like?

The double arm sconce is in our living room – (hardwired, but with the puck light hack).
The single arm – larger one (I actually have 2 of these). They will be going in our master bedroom – hardwired, with the puck light hack also. Post is coming soon.

I decided to go with the curved arm instead to fit my wall space dimensions better.
They were beautiful though – so I still might end up trying them out. 😉
