3 Easy Steps
#1: Set Up Your Centerpiece
Click here for this first step.
- Feel free to use things that you already have on hand at your home.
It will look like this when you are done.
Now, let’s move on to the place settings.
#2: Set Up Your Place Settings
For this step:
- You will put down your round jute charger, white dinner plate, and blue dot salad plate onto the table.
- Then simply take your blue dinner napkin and just tuck it into your bronze leaf napkin holder.
- Next, lie down your rose gold or copper flatware on the sides of each place setting.
- And finish it off with your amber gold tea goblets.
Here is a top view so you can see how the colors blend together.
I love how the cooler shades of blue add subtle contrast, and actually enhance the warmer tones in the chargers, flatware, and napkin rings.
#3: Set Up Your Table Decor
Once you have your place settings done, it’s time to add some “fluff.”
- This part just depends on how much room you have left on your table runner, and if you’re serving your guests – ON the table or not.
For mine I used crystal candle stick holders with cranberry-colored taper candles to add a touch of elegance, ambiance, and some height to the table.
These cranberry – colored candles inspired this year’s table decorations!
- I love how even the smallest decorating accents add the biggest contrast, and inspire/spark creative ideas!
To keep things simple, I placed a couple of pumpkin candles on each side of the table, and one velvet pumpkin also.
I can always move the candles (and the centerpiece candle) to our buffet – to free up space for the yummy dishes!
And I’m so excited because this year my parents are headed our way for Thanksgiving dinner!
I’ll get to put this table decor to use!!
Here is another angle so you can see how those cranberry-colored candles add just a pop of color to the warmer fall colors.
And they pull out the mauve colors in the table centerpiece flowers too.
I hope you have found some table inspiration to get your own creative vibes going – for YOUR Fall/Thanksgiving table this year.
Wishing you a Very Happy Fall & Happy Thanksgiving!!
Love & Grateful Hugs 🙂
